Kris Humphries Sued By Beverly Hills Clothing Company Over Botched Deal, Misses Mandatory Court Date With Kim Kardashian To End Marriage

Kris Humphries is having more trouble than just his separation proceedings with Kim Kardashian. Humphries was sued by a clothing store in Beverly Hills for a deal gone wrong.

Humphries and Kardashian are scheduled to meet face-to-face for the first time since their breakup today, on April 12, in court. However, it seems that Humphries will be unable to make the mandatory court date. He was spotted in NYC at 1am, but the earliest flight to Los Angeles from the city left at 6am - so regardless, he will be late for the proceedings, according to TMZ.

TMZ reported that the former couple is required to appear at a settlement conference in downtown Los Angeles to try to resolve their issues without a trial.

Sources claim that Kris is demanding $7 million to leave the marriage, although he just wants an annulment. Humphries has argued that their marriage was a sham, orchestrated by Kim Kardashian for publicity. Kim, according to TMZ, is unwilling to give Humphries anything and is demanding that he pay her lawyer fees.

Perhaps Humphries wants the $7 million to help him fight the new case brought against him by Scott Hill of a Beverly Hills clothing store.

Scott Hill claims that Humphries was given a 30 percent discount on everything in the store as part of a deal that entailed Humphries bringing two additional NBA clients to the retailer within 12 months.

The clothing company told Hip Hollywood, "The simple matter is that we hoped Kris would live up to his side of the agreement, but he chose not to appreciate that hard work my company put in... We gave Kris the opportunity to clear things up. For sometime, there's been a difference of opinion on how things should be handled. Therefore, we have to take legal remedy."

The suit claims that Humphries bought more than $46,000 worth of goods from the store and still owes more than $6,000.

Scott Hill wants the Brooklyn Nets player to hand over the 6 grand, equal to the discounted figure he had offered in the deal, in addition to $52,000 in damages for the breached contract.

Humphries hasn't yet commented on the lawsuit or on his separation proceedings with Kim Kardashian.
