TIME Entertainment Features ‘Essential K-Pop Tracks Beyond Psy’

Essential K-Pop tracks in addition to Psy have been featured in the TIME Magazine Entertainment Section.

Friday, April 12 TIME Entertainment released an article promoting K-Pop and its famous artists. The article states, “The other bit of big news coming from the Korean peninsula, one not involving nuclear tipped, missiles, is the release of the follow-up single to ‘Gangnam Style’ by Psy.” They introduce the song “Gentleman”.

Before introducing more artists and their already internationally famous songs, TIME Entertainment adds, “’Gentleman’, for all its global-hit potential, is just another track to spring forth from one [of] the world’s most dynamic musical genres: K-Pop.”

In addition to Psy and his new song “Gentleman”, TIME Entertainment mentions the song “Nan Arayo” by Seo Taiji and Boys from 1992.

They also mention the female idol group Wonder Girls and their song “Nobody” as well as male idol group Super Junior with “Rokkugo.”

Then the article speaks of Big Bang with their song “Bad Boy” from their 2012 album EP Alive.

Lastly, TIME Entertainment mentions Girls’ Generation (SNSD) with “The Boys.”
