Rihanna Forced To Cancel Show In Houston, Texas Due To Illness After Breaking Up With Chris Brown To Focus On Career

Rihanna canceled another show, this time in Houston, originally scheduled for Monday April 15 after becoming sick. Last month the singer had to cancel two shows when she contracted laryngitis.

Monday's show was scheduled for the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Live Nation, the events promoter, issued a statement to the Associated Press saying Rihanna had to cancel the show "as a result of illness."

Fans were told not to throw away their tickets, as a make up date for the canceled show will soon be announced. Live Nation is also offering refunds to fans.

When Rihanna first had to cancel shows last month she issued a heartfelt apology on Twitter saying,

"This is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down. I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!"

The singer did not mention Monday's canceled show on Twitter, but she did offer prayers to those in Boston.

Rihanna is scheduled to perform in Dallas tonight, and so far the show is still on track. Rihanna is on her "Diamonds World Tour" promoting her seventh album "Unapologetic."

The singer made headlines a few days ago when her on again off again relationship with Chris Brown came to an end. Rihanna got a lot of criticism from fans when she announced she and Brown were back together in 2012. Chris Brown was arrested for assaulting Rihanna in 2009.

When Brown was doing a radio interview with Power 106 recently, the host asked if Chris Brown was still dating Rihanna.

"Uh, No" Brown replied.

Sources told E! News Rihanna and Brown called it quits because she wants to focus on her career. However, there are speculations that a blonde waitress from NYC may have had something to do with the break up.
