Krystle Campbell Has Been Identified As The Second Victim Of Three Dead In The Boston Marathon Bombings

The identity of one of the victims from the Boston Marathon bombings was identified Tuesday as Krystle Campbell from Medford, Mass.

Campbell, 29, was at the finish line with a friend to cheer on her boyfriend, who was running the race, according to Yahoo News. William Campbell Jr., the father of Krystle told Yahoo News that he is unsure if her boyfriend finished the race before the bombs went off, but was devastated about the loss of his daughter.

"My daughter was the most lovable girl. She helped everybody, and I'm just so shocked right now. We're just devastated," he told Yahoo News. "She was a wonderful, wonderful girl. Always willing to lend a hand."

Of the three dead so far after the two bombings that took place during the Boston Marathon Monday for the yearly tradition known as Patriot's Day, Campbell has been the second identified victim.

Martin Richard, an eight-year-old boy was identified as the first victim after he reportedly was running away from the first explosion, when the second explosion ultimately killed him. He was watching his father finish the race, but his six-year-old sister and mother were injured, reportedly losing limbs because of the bombs.

As of Tuesday afternoon, more than 170 have been injured, with 17 of them still in critical condition.
