Boston Looting After Marathon Bombing, No Shame [VIDEO]

Boston looting allegedly occurred after the Boston marathon bombings that injured nearly 200 people on Monday.

A video footage taken yesterday shows people looting expensive jackets from a booth near the site of the explosion that was meant for finishers near the finish line.

"Looters stealing marathon jackets, while others are just feet away critically injured," said one YouTube user in the video.

Initially posted on Reddit some people said the footage was unsubstantiated.

"These were not 'looters.' The [Boston Marathon] organizers dropped the boxes off and told people to take them. Their idea was that it would help with the cold and at that point...no one cared about cost," said one user on Reddit.

Another comment noted that the footage appears to have been filmed too late.

"Is this even anywhere near the finish line? It doesn't look like it. The scene was cleared with in a hour or two of the bombs, was this incident within those hours while people were still injured? Were they told they could have these jackets?" another Redditor posited.

The new Boston Marathon jacket later appeared on eBay Tuesday, as listed with a price of $114.99, however it was unclear if the jacket was handed out or given to the eBay user.

"Out of respect for victims, eBay does not allow listings that graphically portray, glorify or attempt to profit from human tragedy or suffering. eBay's teams are monitoring related listings to ensure they comply with our policies and also taking into account reports from our community members," eBay said in a statement to the Huffington Post.
