Bradley Cooper Lives With Mom Despite Relationship With Suki Waterhouse; Is Jennifer Lawrence Jealous Of Cooper’s New Girlfriend?

Bradley Cooper talked about the most important woman in his life in an interview with Details magazine. No, not Jennifer Lawrence or Suki Waterhouse - his mother.

Cooper revealed that since the death of his father, the Hangover 3 star has been living with his mother, Gloria. His father, Charles, passed away after a long battle with cancer in January 2011.

Cooper said of living with his mom, "Let's face it: it's probably not easy for her, by the way, to be living with her son. It's life. And right now, two years after my father's death, this is where we are."

"My family is very close, and my dad dying was brutal for all of us. It was a schism, and its aftershock has not stopped. And we need each other. So here we are but don't get me wrong. It's not without complications. It's not like I live in a compound and she's in the guesthouse. No. She's in the next room. But here's the thing: She's a cool chick. We can hang, and she can roll with the punches. If that wasn't the case, there's no way."

Cooper added that his father's death ahd a huge impact on how he lives his life. "I was like, 'Okay. This is death. And this is going to happen to me one day.' There was a huge freedom that came with that. I just don't sweat the sh**. The small stuff. My mind is just less busy now," he said.

I used to think, 'Oh my God. I don't want to make anyone not like me. I don't want to ruffle any feathers.' Now it's like, 'I'm just going to be myself and trust that.' And I'm enjoying life more."

38-year-old Cooper revealed that he hopes to one day become a father. He said, "Of course I have [thought about it]."

"I really hope to have that experience in my life. I saw how much joy fatherhood gave my own dad. So I hope its part of my journey. You go through stages in your life, and fatherhood seems like a natural stage."

Cooper isn't planning on becoming a father just yet, and it's unlikely that the topic will come up soon, as he just started dating 20-year-old model Suki Waterhouse. 

Radar Online reported that Jennifer Lawrence is actually jealous of Cooper's new fling, since he is spending his free time with Waterhouse instead of Lawrence on set.

"When Bradley and Jennifer mad Silver Linings Playbook together they were inseparable. But now, Bradley has been spending his free time with Suki, and she feels like she's lost her partner in crime...Because he's spending all his free time with Suki, Jennifer's only really seen Bradley on set and she's grown a little jealous about it." the source said.

It's unclear about how trustworthy these rumors are, but hopefully the 'jealousy' won't affect the on-screen couple's chemistry in their film together, titled American Hustle.

American Hustle is based on the ABSCAM sting operation that occurred on Long Island during the late 1970's and 80's. The FBI planned a sting operation that resulted in the conviction of a U.S. Congressman.

Aside from Cooper and Lawrence, Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner will star in the film, scheduled to release on December 25, 2013.
