When Will The MacBook Air 2016 Release Date Be? Rumors Point Out Early Next Year

Apple recently announced new MacBooks for 2016 including its Air and Pro versions and release date for the said computers are expected to roll out next year.

In a report by Christian Post, Apple had a decline in MacBook sales last year and is one sign that the company would reveal the updated versions of the laptops.

"Some are speculating that the decline in sales have affected the tech company's decision to release more gadgets before the end of the year in a possible move to cut down costs," a report from MNR Daily stated.

The 2016 MacBook Air and Pro have the following features expected. Carrying the features the laptops had for this year's version, the newer models are expected to have a 13 and 15-inch variants, a type-C USB port, improved Force Touch trackpad installed with the recently introduced OS X El Kapitan.

In another Christian Post report, the new Air is also expected to be equipped with a Skylake-U processor that could boost its performance.

Meanwhile, it has been pointed out by Yibada that some websites have already rolled down the prices of the 2015-below versions of the MacBooks to give way to the upcoming release date of the 2016 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.

The source recently stated that sites such as Adorama and AppleInsider already announced big discounts for the said computers that ranges from $300-$800.

According to the site, laptop models released on 2015 would have a price cut of $300-$600, while the 2014 models and older could have a price cut of up to $800.

Also, included in the discount is a list of freebies that may include a three-year Apple Care protection, an LG super drive and other accessories.

There are no official words regarding the release date of the 2016 MacBook Air and Pro but is expected to come by March of next year.
