Edward Norton Welcomes Baby Boy And New Role In “Birdman” With Michael Keaton

Edward Norton and his fiancee, Shauna Robertson, had a healthy baby boy in March, according to multiple sources. The pair has kept their engagement and pregnancy strictly under wraps, never publically discussing the subjects. Still, rumors have circulated about the pregnancy and birth, and finally, US Weekly has confirmed the news.

An insider said the duo are "thrilled and excited for parenthood". Edward Norton and Sauna Robertson have been together for six years, and they got engaged in 2011. Robertson is a Canadian film producer.  Norton has appeared in such films as Kingdom of Heaven, American History X, and Moonrise Kingdom.

That's not the only new baby for the private couple. Norse began production on the film Birdman recently, which will costar Edward Norton. Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, Zach Galifianakis, and Amy Ryan are also on the star-studded cast-filled, incidentally, with actors who have been in superhero movies like The Amazing Spiderman and Superman.

Birdman, much as it sounds like a superhero film, will be a bit different. It's a black comedy directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, a Mexican director and indie darling best known in the US for films such as 21 Grams and Babel. In the film, Norton and Michael Keaton will play stage actors - Keaton as a has-been actor known for playing a superhero trying to make a comeback, and Norton is the stage actor who tries to stop him. Emma Stone is slated to appear as Keaton's drug-addled daughter, recently released from rehab and trying to make a fresh start as an assistant to her dad.
