[SPOILERS, VIDEO] American Idol Top 5 Results, Clay Aiken, and Fantasia

Fantasia Barrino and Clay Aiken both appeared in last night's episode of season 12 of American Idol. Fantasia Barrino was the musical guest, performing her new single "Lose to Win."

Clay Aiken sang "Bridge Over Troubled Water" for American Idol, which he also performed when he competed. It's been ten years since he narrowly lost to Ruben Studdard, but he's proved himself a star in his own right since then. The judges gave him a standing ovation.

Janelle Arthur was eliminated in tonight's episode. Kree Harrison was also in the bottom two, but Arthur scored lower. Fan polls before the show took place said Arthur would lose...and they were correct.

Angie Miller earned the most votes in the pre-show survey. American Idol has an all-female top five cast after Lazaro Arbos lost last week, ensuring a female win. The last time a female won was Jordin Sparks during Season 7.

Some say Clay Aiken stole the show, though...even though he was the only male to perform. Aiken is one of the most famous contestants in the history of the show, despite his defeat. He dished on American Idol unabashedly in the Plead the Fifth section of a Watch What Happens episode of Bravo's Celebrity Apprentice last March.

In fact, Aiken answered every question, even though the purpose of the segment is to ask questions too provocative to answer publicly. He called out Rihanna for "pitch problems" in a question about which pop star wouldn't make it past the first round of American Idol! When asked a "marry, screw, kill" question about Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Ryan Seacrest, Clay answered that he would kill Simon, marry Randy, and screw Ryan. And he finally put plastic surgery rumors to rest, admitting that he had jaw surgery to "suck the fat" from his chin.
