4 Shot In Basement: Found Dead By A Friend In Akron Ohio And Were Reportedly Shot Repeatedly

Four shot in basement and found dead in a townhome in Akron, Ohio Thursday.

An unnamed friend called the police around 2:30 p.m. after swinging by the home because one of the victims wouldn't answer their phone. He told Akron police that when he went over, he saw the basement door "wide open."

The unnamed friend said he saw the bullet shells and went down the stairs, and saw all four dead. When the police arrived, they noticed that all four were shot.

Police spokesman Lt. Rick Edwards Edwards said told Fox News that all four were shot repeatedly. "Our officers came out here to investigate that, but did not get an answer at the door; they did force entry into the house and they located the four victims in the basement on the floor. I can tell you that multiple shots were fired inside the basement."

Family members identified the victims to NBC News as Ronald Roberts, 24; Maria Nash, 19 and Kem Delaney, 23. Roberts' family said his girlfriend, Kiana "Kiki" Welch, is the fourth person dead.

"My thoughts are that my son wouldn't have hurt anyone. He would have given you the shirt off his back, and whoever did this needs to be found and held responsible," Roberts' mother told NBC. "Now, I have a 24-year-old son to put away, for what? Can you please tell me why?"

The case is being investigated, thus no further information was given, besides that it was an execution-style killing of the four found in basement of an Akron home.

Another family member gave his thoughts on the loss of Roberts.

"My brother was a good kid," said one man at the scene. "My brother was a good kid; he ain't deserve to get killed like that. Whoever did it, I hope you turn yourself in or get found."
