Sorority Sister's Deranged, Racist Twitter Insults Go Viral

Rebecca Martinson, a sorority sister at the Delta Gamma chapter of the University of Maryland, said some very pleasant things about humanity and her sorority sisters in an email and on Twitter account that have gone viral.

The 'sorority girl,' as various media outlets have called her, tweeted a steady stream of posts that ranged from politically incorerect to "deranged". She deleted her Twitter account earlier today, but not before it went viral.

Messages include: "It's gotten to the point where I have trouble talking to people not in greek life because I have no idea what they do with their spare time", although her sisters were being "so F###ING AWKWARD" and  "BORING".

Martinson's clearly very tolerant, saying about Asian men: "I like my men like I liked my karate moves....vaguely Asian but white enough that I can understand what they're saying"

On Latinos: "One of the perks of going to class ugly is that the Mexicans working along the sidewalk don't try to talk to me"

On gay rights: "Why am I not surprised that the girl w/ a pink mohawk and cargo pants is talking about LGBT rights when it doesn't even apply to this class"

On the elderly: "Old people everywhere".

And on being white: "Being overprivileged and white makes shopping in ghetto malls so fucking difficult #amex"

An email by Martinson regarding the sorority sisters' participation in the school's Greek Week, particularly with the fraternity they'd been paired with, Sigma Nu, was sent to the sorority's listserv from the chapter president and obtained by Jezebel. It's brimming with gems and kindness to the other sisters such as:

"I would rather have 40 girls that are fun, talk to boys, and not f___ing awkward than 80 that are f___ing faggots."

And, in another tirade of creative, non-offensive insults:

"Are you people f___ing retarded? That's not a rhetorical question, I LITERALLY want you to email me back telling me if you're mentally slow so I can make sure you don't go to anymore night time events."

Sports are a problem too, apparently:

"I've not only gotten texts about people being f___ing WEIRD at sports (for example, being stupid sh__s and saying stuff like "durr what's kickball?" is not f___ing funny), but I've gotten texts about people actually cheering for the opposing team. The opposing. F___ing. Team. ARE YOU F___ING STUPID?!!"

But it's not all bad. She counsels girls who may have been a bit hurt or upset:

"Ohhh Rebecca, I'm now crying because your email has made me oh so so sad". Well good. If this email applies to you in any way, meaning if you are a little a__wipe that stands in the corners at night or if you're a weird s__t that does weird s__t during the day, this following message is for you:

DO NOT GO TO TONIGHT'S EVENT.

I'm not f___ing kidding. Don't go."
