Watch David Ortiz Speech When Red Sox Return To Boston: Includes Vulgar Language [VIDEO]

David Ortiz speech with the Boston Red Sox returning home for the first time since the Boston Marathon bombings that swept away the attention of the U.S. for nearly a week, he spoke to the fans and used vulgar language to do it.

It was the first time Ortiz returned to the lineup for the Red Sox since last July, when Big Pappi tore his achilles tendon. The injury cost him the rest of the 2013 regular-season and most of the first month of the 2013 season.

During his speech, he said "This is our fucking city, and no one is going to dictate our freedom. Stay strong."

His strong-worded speech was following the two bombings that cause the Boston area to be locked down. Three were killed and over 170 were injured.

The two alleged suspects were on the loose, but went back to their every day-lives, until photos were released of the suspects. While on the loose, they killed an MIT police officer and were in a shootout with the police. Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed, but his brother, Dzhokhar was able to get away.

Watertown, Mass. was on lockdown, but he was found alive in a boat Friday evening.

He batted .318 with 23 home runs and 60 RBI in 90 games.

The Red Sox have been rebuilding since its two World Series championship teams of 2004 and 2007. Ortiz is the only player remaining from the 2004 team.
