'One Piece' Episode 718 Review: Zoro To Settle Score With Pica; Will He Unleash His New Techniques?

It's time of the week again and for fans craving for "One Piece" episode 718, read on!

Last episode, Kyros finally managed to defeat his tormentor and wife killer, Diamante. He was able to shrug off the top executive's ultimate attack and dealt his killer move, "Trueno Bastardo" that was enough to knock out Diamante.

Next episode, it is time for the Straw Hat's vice-captain, Zoro to shine and settle the score with another top executive, Pica.

Meanwhile, there's been a growing issue to fans as the pacing of "One Piece" anime has been very slow. The Daily Fandom described what Toei is doing wrong with the anime.

"Why is this happening? One of the explanations could be that, for some reason, TOEI has decided to translate 1 manga chapter to 1 anime episode. Which is something that doesn't really always work since narrative in comics and audiovisual pieces is not the same and we've also seen too many unnecessary reaction shots," as stated in the website.

This has been the case since the post-timeskip and the reaction shots being dragged could be assumed true since the one chapter=one episode was implemented.

Nonetheless, here's the summary of what's about to transpire in  the next episode. It will cover the events of "One Piece" chapter 777 and here is a brief synopsis of the episode courtesy of "One Piece" wiki.

"Kyros defeats Diamante, and Viola tells the news to the others. Kyros and Rebecca then remember Scarlett at her grave. However, Pica is avoiding Zoro to prey on Kyros and the other injured Colosseum gladiators. Zoro manages to distract him, but Pica then heads toward King Riku. After thinking of and dismissing several plans, Zoro decides to just attack Pica with a fifth plan: destroying his enemy."
