Manziel won the Heisman Trophy as a freshman at Texas A&M in December and has been known around campus and the world now as "Johnny Football."

The 20-year-old appeared to be partying it up in Vegas, but denied that any illegal drugs were involved.

Last year he led the Aggies to an 11-2 record, which included victories over the number-one ranked Alabama Crimson Tide that helped catapult his young career to a national level. During that 29-24 victory, Manziel threw for two touchdowns, no interceptions and 92 rushing yards against the team that went on to win the BCS National Championship.

Manziel also led Texas A&M to a Cotton Bowl Classic victory against Oklahoma. In that 41-13 blowout, he ran for two touchdowns and passed for two more.

He will be back under center to start the 2013 season.
