Michael Bay Reveals Original ‘Transformers’ Cast Member Megan Fox Won’t Return For ‘4,’ Actress Will Stick To ‘Ninja Turtles’ Role

Although Megan Fox and Michael Bay have resolved their differences, after Fox likened Bay to Hitler and Bay then fired Fox, Fox won't be rejoining the cast of Transformers anytime soon.

However, Michael Bay did announce that Megan Fox would be brought "back into the family" with a role in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Fox will play the turtles' best friend April O'Neil in the remake of the classic cartoon.

Bay, when asked by E! Magazine if Fox would appear in Transformers 4, quickly ansered "No."

Bay explained, "Because it's a totally different story. It's with Mark Wahlberg and his daughter."

Transformers 4 will take place "exactly four years after the war in Chicago" and will focus on Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz, of Bates Motel. Josh Duhamel, a Transformers staple, revealed that Bay mentioned the possibility of him appearing in the fourth installment of the robot films with a cameo.

Duhamel told The Hollywood Reporter, "[Michael Bay] said he wants to put me in it someplace. I don't know if he was just saying that because he had me on the phone and he felt obligated or what..."

Duhamel may be the only member of the original Transformers cast to appear in the fourth film. Shia LaBeouf and Fox-replacement Rosie Huntington-Whiteley aren't returning, either.

Bay clarified, "It's the same [world]. You have the three movies, but there's a reason why there's a new cast. And it's explained very clearly when you see it, and it's going to feel natural. So it's not like we're starting over or anything like that."
