2PM to Make Comeback, 'From Idols to Men'

2PM is coming back with their new album next month. After a successful concert in Tokyo Dome, the stage of dreams, 2PM stated that they will consider it a new starting point as they continue to mature as artists as well as men.

The overall image of 2PM in Korea has been 'beast idol' which is associated with the idea that they are a powerful performance group. Their unmatched energy and masculinity, combined with songs and dance moves that accentuated their toughness have been the color of 2PM so far.

Debuting with "10 out of 10" which was centered on sexual curiosity coupled with witty lyrics, 2PM continued on their sexy image with "Again and Again" along with their commanding, uniform choreography. "Heartbeat" was an even more escalated showcase of their wild masculinity.

During their three years of concerts, performances, TV appearances and various events, 2PM has become an experienced artist group with both the talent and the maturity to claim a special territory in K-Pop. Five singles, two full albums, four independent concert tours have come and gone in total.

In order for 2PM to attain an even better image as mature men, what they may need is the kind of poise and gravity that come with experience--more than just toughness and masculinity on the surface but the overall vibe as an individual that exudes manliness.

Of course, member of 2PM have a soft side. Even the toughest men do. During the concert at Tokyo Dome, Taekyeon shed a few tears upon seeing the support from their fans in Japan, while Nickhun chocked up when sharing his experience with DUI.

To become truly manly artists, 2PM will need to continue to build their poise and emotional stability despite various circumstances surrounding them. It holds true for 2PM, as well for men and women of all ages.
