Emma Watson Wants To Rob Paris Hilton? Watch The Young Star Become A Hollywood Bad Girl In New ‘The Bling Ring’ Trailer [VIDEO]

Emma Watson plays a fame-obsessed Hollywood bad girl in Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring, the trailer of which was just released. The new teaser offers more information about the plot, which is based on the true story of a group of teenagers who broke into Hollywood Celebrities' homes, including those of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Orlando Bloom.

22-year-old Emma Watson plays the ringleader Nicki in The Bling Ring, who declares in the trailer, "I want to rob." Watson's character is based on the real life Bling Ring member Alexis Neiers, who wasn't the ringleader of the original group, but became the best known of the teens convicted in the crimes.

The real-life 'Bling Ring,' also known as the Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch, stole up to $3 million worth of jewelry, designer clothes and other expensive items from the celebs before getting caught in 2009.

Neiers, the daughter of a Playboy model, served some time in prison before being released. After her prison sentence, she stretched out her 15-minutes of fame by starring in the reality show Pretty Wild about her and her family's lives.

When Watson and her Hollywood-obsessed gang aren't plotting raids on stars' homes and running from the law, they act like other teenagers do, partying at dance clubs and hanging out. Watson told MTV News that her dance moves seen in the trailer were 'obviously' inspired by Beyonce. Watson said, "Come on, it's obvious it's like the Beyoncé [move]," she said of the shoulder shimmy-to-hair flip move in the trailer. "I feel like that's a famous thing, no?"

The Bling Ring trailer also shows Watson's character giving a press conference outside of what looks like a courthouse. She says she has reformed her thieving ways stating, "It all comes back to bad choices. Who you have as your friend."

"I'm a firm believer in karma and I think the situation is a huge learning lesson for me to grow and expand as a spiritual human being. I wanna lead a country one day for all I know," Watson adds.

Watson won the Trailblazer award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards last week, honoring her smart career choices at her young age.

The Bling Ring is scheduled to open the 'Un Certain Regard' section of the 2013 Cannes Film festival in May before opening in theaters on June 14.
