Quentin Groves Arrested Prostitution Sting: Woman Police Officer Undercover As Hooker Over The Phone And Now The NFL Linebacker Apologizes For His Alleged Actions

Quentin Groves arrested prostitution sting: Current Cleveland Browns linebacker was arrested last week in a prostitution sting, apologized for his actions, but had a meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

"I am committed to learning from this and moving forward," Groves said in a statement.

Groves said he let down his family, himself and the Cleveland franchise.

Quentin Groves arrested prostitution sting last week, but entered a no contest plea to disorderly conduct in Bedford Municipal Court in suburban Cleveland on Tuesday.

According to a police report, the linebacker "made arrangements for certain acts ... and requested 'full service' and stated he would bring condoms," the police report stated, adding in detail: "He agreed to one hour of time for [$100] and was told that anal would be an additional [$20]."

The prostitute was an undercover woman police officer.

Quentin Groves arrested prostitution sting takes place after he signed a two-year $2.8 million contract with the Browns as an unrestricted free agent.

Before entering the NFL, while undergoing medical tests at the NFL Combine, Groves was discovered to have Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which results in him having a rapid heartbeat because of electrical impulses in the heart taking extra pathways. Groves told the media "It's an extra circuit in the heart, and it speeds up your heartbeat, it's nothing too critical, but you have to take care of it."

Groves elected to have a surgical procedure called ablation, which is described as "minor". After the procedure, Groves sent a letter to all NFL teams informing them that he was able to play, according to his doctors. "Some teams had questions so that's when my agent said to get it fixed," Groves said. "The letter said that the doctors said I was 100% healed, and I'm good."

A meeting with Goodell was forced, but no word on any punishment has been announced.
