MTV's "Snooki And JWoww" Picked Up For Third Season... MTV Adding Three New Series Including Pilot For TV Version Of "Scream"

It is official that MTV's "Snooki & JWoww", a spinoff of the former hit "Jersey Shore "starring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni Farley, will be back for a third season.

Viewers have loved watching Snooki as a new mom and viewers can't wait to watch her antics as a momma. Instead of the "Shore's" drunken party girl, homegirl's trading in her jungle juice for breast milk.

MTV is adding three new series to its lineup and has ordered a pilot episode for a potential TV remake of Scream, the horror franchise from Dimension Films.

If Scream becomes a series, it is planned for a summer 2014 debut but has yet to hire script writers. MTV says it is "in discussions" with director Wes Craven to create the pilot episode.

The three new series planned are:

--Generation Cryo, an unscripted series focused on a 17-year-old girl conceived through artificial insemination, who learned she has 15 or more half-siblings who share an anonymous sperm father.

--Nurse Nation, another docuseries about twentysomething nurses who travel to a new city for a 13-week tour.

-- The Hook Up, hosted by Andrew Schulz of MTV2's Guy Code, will be a  weekday-afternoon dating show in which dates pick suitors based on their social-media history.

MTV rating plummeted 25% among viewers ages 18 to 34 since the beginning of the year. Some shows get solid rating such as "Teen Mom." "Buckwild" was a huge MTV hit but was canceled after one season after sadly lost it's star, Shain Gandee, after a tragic, accidental death.

If you're not familiar with the Jersey Shore alums, here's a peek. (But you must be living under a rock)
