Jennifer Love Hewitt Rumored To Be Next 'X-Factor' Judge; Kelly Rowland And Reba McEntire Also In The Running

Jennifer Love Hewitt is rumored to be Simon Cowell's choice as the next judge on Fox's the "X-Factor," according to reports by Us Weekly. Cowell is said to have pegged Jennifer Love Hewitt as his top choice to replace departed "X-Factor" judges Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, who left after the completion of the second season.

Us Weekly's source said "Simon is very interested" about the Golden Globe nominated actress, Jennifer Love Hewitt, but an X-Factor rep told Us Weekly, "It's pure speculation. No decisions have been made about the panel. Simon and Demi are the only judges confirmed on the panel so far."

But Jennifer Love Hewitt isn't the only contender to replace Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. Former Destiny's Child member, Kelly Rowland, is also in the running, as is rock & roll blues icon, Reba McEntire. One of Rowland's pals exbuerantly told the magazine, "Kelly's nearly a done deal!"

Kelly Rowland did some judging on the UK version of the show, which is why some think she's the next choice.

The host of the Fox show, Mario Lopez, will return in that capacity for season three, but Khloe Kardashian's largely panned spot as his co-host will be cut.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, 34, is probably most well known for her television roles on shows like "Party of Five," "The Ghost Whisperer" and her Golden Globe nominated turn as titular massage therapist, Riley Parks, on "The Client List," which started airing on the Lifetime channel in 2012 after Love Hewitt also starred in the TV movie. She's also gained fame for her starring roles in the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" movie franchise, when she appeared in the original and sequel, "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer."

Hewitt meet her current boyfriend, Brian Hallisay, on the set of the Lifetime show, "The Client List," and the two were spotted smooching on set by the UK Mail back in March of this year. Hallisay is also an actor and plays her husband on the show.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's breasts feature prominently in the ribald comedy, "The Client List," and she recently expressed an interest about insuring her assets, telling USA "I need, like, an insurance invitation. If somebody was like 'Hey, you know what? We would like to insure your boobs for $2.5 million dollars,' I'd be like 'Do it. Love it! Why not?'"

It's not so crazy an idea, and maybe her new gig on the X-Factor will help facilitate the arrangement. Stars like Heidi Klum and former Girl Next Door Holly Madison have insured specific body parts, with Klum insuring each of her legs for a million dollars and Madison insuring her surgically enhanced breasts for a million dollars as well.
