Nicki Minaj To Take On Big Screen In ‘Other Woman’ Alongside Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton; Idol Judge Says Acting Is Her “First Love”

Nicki Minaj is in talks to make her big-screen debut in the movie The Other Woman. Minaj's new movie will be produced by Fox, and is a 'revenge comedy,' according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Starring alongside Nicki Minaj in the film are Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, Kate Upton, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau of Game Of Thrones.

Nick Cassavetes will direct the comedy. The plot will feature a young woman (Cameron Diaz) who finds out that she is the "other woman" in an affair.

She joins forces with the cheating man's wife (Mann) and the man's other mistress (Upton) to get revenge on him. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will play the cheating man.

Nicki Minaj will play Cameron Diaz's assistant at a law firm. Minaj's character will be on her third marriage in the film.

Minaj's voice made its big screen debut in Ica Age: Continental Drift, in which the singer voiced Steffie the mammoth. Minaj currently appears as a judge on Fox's American Idol, which will wrap up in a few weeks.

Recently, Minaj told MTV News that she was ready to return to acting, her "first love."

She said, "I may be working on something right now. I can't really say too much about it, but I definitely have the acting love. This was my first love, so you just never know."

The Other Woman is scheduled to start filming in late spring/early summer of 2013 in New York.
