Group MYNAME Ranks 6 on Japan Oricon Charts

MYNAME is back.

Staying red hot, they picked up right where they left off in March and placed number six on Oricon album charts as of April 29.

We Are MYNAME is MYNAME's first full album that was released on March 27 in Japan. The album was able to jump to the 3rd place on daily charts instantly upon release. A month later, it has re-entered the top 10 and looks to continue its popularity among the fans in Japan.

Including both single charts and album charts, MYNAME is currently the only Korean artist that is placed in the top 10 of Oricon charts, further highlighting the magnitude and the difficulty of their accomplishment.

Continuing on their wave of successes, the boy band will begin their tour across Japan, spanning from Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo. The concert tour will begin in May.

Earlier this year in March, they held their first solo concert since debut.

It was held at the Seoul Interpark Art Center and was there first solo concert after 1 year and 6 months after debut.

They first held their solo concert in Japan last year with around 5,000 fans.

They sang a series of hit songs and prepared a flawless performance for their fans.

They sang both Korean and Japan songs and reached out to their international fans.

They also revealed their other talents such as dancing and B-boying as well and gained much attention.

MYNAME is a group that debuted in 2011 under H2 Media. The group has 5 members and was created by Fly to the Sky member Hwanhee.

They first were introduced to the public through their own reality TV show.

On the other hand, they will be holding a Japan tour this May.
