Jennifer Aniston Reveals Cheat Days: Says She Was A Lot Rounder Before Yoga Regime And "Friends"[VIDEO]

Jennifer Aniston talks about her "cheat days," how she was "rounder" back in the day, and her yoga routine at a celebration for her yoga instructor Mandy Ingber's new book "Yogalosophy: 28 Days To the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover."

"We were a lot rounder," Aniston told People with a giggle. "We ate terribly. We did that, and then we sort of grew up a little bit more and we got jobs," she said about herself before she hit it big on "Friends."

Jen posed for pictures in a low-cut short black dress that cinched in at the waist before flaring out, paired with sky-high strappy sandals at the event which was hosted by Self Magazine at The Soho House in West Hollywood on Tuesday.

She discussed with the magazine about her cheat days:

"Cheat days for me are usually ... it's either Mexican food ... maybe Italian pasta, but I think you always have to do it in moderation," the 44-year-old said.

Glad to know that Aniston is more similar to the rest of us common folk and can't handle a strict diet regiment 24/7.

Meanwhile, Jennifer's yoga instructor Mandy said that she was proud to watch Jennifer's body morph into what it is today over the years.

'I've definitely watched that process happen and unfold, and I'm grateful that I've gotten to be the observer of that.'

"It's hard to say is that yoga or is it as we get older we grow into ourselves, but I've seen her become so empowered, so grounded in herself, so comfortable in her own skin," Ingber said.

Aniston, a yoga devotee for many years, shares her love for the activity:

"Yoga strengthens my muscles and gives me a great sense of peace and calm. It also improves my breathing and centres me. I usually follow yoga with about 40 minutes of cardio - hiking, running or at the gym."

She shared a few tips with Self to get beginners through what can sometimes be a grueling yoga routine:

"Love the body that you have right now because that's the perfect body and then be patient with yourself," she said. "When you first start you might feel like 'I can't do this, it hurts,' and then be patient. Do little bits and you get there. You do, it's all about being really gentle with yourself and acceptance of what it is at the moment."
