Psy Shares His Thoughts on New Billboard Ranking at 26

New Billboard rankings are out.

To the disappointment of many hopefuls waiting for Psy's "Gentleman"'s rise to the top, his global hit came in at 26.

Upon the news, Psy shared his honest thoughts on Twitter.

"A lot of people seem disappointed by the news that 'Gentleman' only ranked at 26 on Billboard. It reminded me how big I have gotten and how high the bar has been raised. As I mentioned during my interview at the airport, international promotions are more like a marathon. I don't see this as a drop in rankings but a fresh start. Fight on!" Psy tweeted shortly after Billboard released the rankings.

Previously ranked at number five on Billboard Hot 100 upon the release of "Gentleman," Psy's addicting dance song has taken a dip in the charts. But as Psy put it, it is only the beginning.

Meanwhile, Psy appeared at the Major League Baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Colorado Rockies on April 30 to root for Korean starting pitcher for the Dodgers, Ryu Hyun Jin.
