Heidi Klum Confirms She Is Dating Her Bodyguard
Sharp-eyed Heidi Klum observers may have noticed that she's been wearing a gold band on her right hand - and that boyfriend Martin Kirsten has a similar one.
She confirmed her relationship with bodyguard Martin Kristen in September following a painful separation from husband Seal.
And during an interview with omg! Insider on Wednesday, Heidi Klum revealed she remains hesitant to rush into marriage this time around.
The model's announcement comes just days after she stepped out with her boyfriend wearing matching Tiffany & Co. Etoile bands on their right ring fingers.
But the supermodel put any rumors to rest (though she didn't give many details) at an event for Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy, for which she's the face.
"This is a ring I got from my boyfriend. It's a present," she told PEOPLE of the band inscribed at least partially with the word "Martin."
So what attracted her to her hunky former bodyguard? It could have something to do with the fact that he's often seen in what Klum thinks is the sexiest thing a guy can wear.
"I love straightforward, ripped, washed-a-hundred-times jeans that just fit really well," she says, "and a cool t-shirt. I don't like a guy when he's overdressed or over-styled. I like it better rugged."
A far cry from what initially caught her eye about ex-husband Seal, but hey, whatever works!
"I am happy, said Klum. "It is always hard to find the right partner and you just never know in the beginning.There's no engagement. I did get a present from my boyfriend. He did give me a ring and he has the same."
She emphasized: 'I am not engaged. I am not planning to get married anytime soon. It's just a beautiful piece of jewelry. Just something nice.'
The Victoria's Secret beauty proudly donned the diamond-and-gold band.
The German stunner also slipped into a patterned wrap dress featuring a daring slit that revealed her flawless stems.
Bodyguard boyfriend Martin remained outside of the spotlight but undoubtedly was wearing his corresponding bauble.
The pair first sported the identical rings during an April 20 outing in Brentwood, California.
