Honey Boo Boo's Mama Getting Married To Boo Boo's Father

Mama June, famous as the mother of the more famous Honey Boo Boo, is getting married. Instead of just guiding the career of her daughter, June, herself, will be in the spotlight as she walks down the aisle.

The reality star, whose real name is June Shannon, is tying the knot with her beau, Sugar Bear, in a ceremony in Georgia, on Sunday, according to TMZ.com. 

Mama June and her man, whose real name is Mike Thompson, met on an online chat room nine years ago and hit it off. From their union, they produced  Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson was born seven years ago.

According to TMZ, cameras will capture the ceremony for the reality TV show and guests have reportedly been told that no cell phones or cameras will be allowed at the wedding. 

Mama June and her daughter shot to fame after appearing on reality show Toddlers and Tiaras before landing their own program. She recently was in New York City where she was named, Miss Trump Hotel New York, 2013.

With that new title, she may have her sights set on something even bigger.

As Donald Trump is both the owner of the hotel and organizer of the Miss Universe pageant, it seems as though Honey Boo Boo would have a slight advantage should she ever want to enter the pageant down the line. For now, though, she seems happy to be a youngster, comfortable in just her jeans and sandals - saving gowns and high heels for her later years.

To celebrate her new title, Mama June took Honey Boo Boo to FAO Schwarz to shop for toys, which is where Angelina Jolie took her sons on Friday as well.

The two tested out the giant piano, laughing and jumping around together.

According to Daily Mail.com, the youngster will be making her UK debut soon, as her show will air on TLC's new channel in England.
