Anna Nicole Smith’s Daughter at Kentucky Derby with Dad
Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead, is the spitting image of her late mother. In a rare public appearance, the six-year-old and her father Larry Birkhead arrived in Louisville, Kentucky for the 139th Kentucky Derby.
They posed happily on the red carpet at the Grey Goose lounge at Churchill Downs. Dannielynn was wearing a Mary Poppins outfit from the "Jolly Holiday" scene from the 1964 film - a white gown with red trim and a matching hat and umbrella.
Last year, Dannielynn and her dad also took part in the Derby fun. Dannielynn wore a flowery hat and a floral yellow dress. Larry Birkhead has a lot of history at the Derby - it is where he met his wife, Anna Nicole Smith.
Smith passed away in 2007. The former Playboy model was known for her eccentric style and would certainly have approved of her daughter's ensemble. At the 2004 Kentucky Derby, Smith attracted media attention for the bright pink dress she wore.
Dannielynn is named after her half-brother Daniel, who died from a lethal combination of drugs. He collapsed in his mother's hospital room in the Bahamas just three days after Dannielynn's birth. Anna Nicole was 39 when she was found dead in a Florida hotel room.
