‘2 Broke Girls’ Season 5 Episode 17 Spoilers; The Gang Starts A Bar! Martin With Big Reveal?
"2 Broke Girls" continues this April 7 with the title "And the Show and Don't Tell." According to TV.com, the upcoming episode's plot is the following: "The girls visit Caroline's father in prison to see him perform in a musical and to tell him their plan to use Caroline's movie money to convert their cupcake window into a dessert bar." The episode will be the 17th episode of the season and 111th overall.
The upcoming episode marks the return of Steven Webber who plays Caroline's father, Martin Channing. It's been a while since fans of the show got a glimpse of Caroline's father. The last time appearance of Martin was on season 2 episode 23 where he asks Caroline to defend his father in Piers Morgan' show on CNN against Martin's secretary Sandra who was about to release a book at that time.
The upcoming episode will also be pivotal for the upcoming episodes and possibly series where the girls will shift their focus not only on cupcakes. A dessert bar will most likely open up more opportunities for the girls as they have to find ways to set-up shop.
But aside from the story of Caroline and Max, Sophie's side has also become a lot more interesting. According to Culture Ware Reporters, "it turns out that Sophie has been pregnant for the past three months!" Pregnancy stories on sitcoms is big and it would be very interesting on how the story would develop especially when Sophie is portrayed as a wild character.
While the show is about to end its current season, fans should be glad to know that the popular comedy series was recently renewed by CBS, according to TV Guide. Although the premiere date and number of episodes for season six is still unknown, it is possible that the show will return early November or late October this year.
