Margaret Cho Slams John Travolta As "So Gay"; Comedian Ripped Travolta While Performing Stand-Up In Australia

John Travolta probably barely remembers working with Margaret Cho on the 1997 flick Face/Off, but the same can't be said for her. While performing stand-up in Australia, Cho decided to rip into Travolta 16 years later and made fun of his sexuality throughout her act. She declared that he is "so gay," but simply isn't able to come out of the closet.

"John Travolta is so gay. He doesn't just like men. He is like Oscar Wilde gay... like Lord Byron gay," said Cho. "That kind of crazy, incredibly flamboyant gay... I feel bad for him, because I know he would be much happier if he could just come out. But he can't."

Cho also spoke about her time working with Travolta on the action flick, accusing him of being a pampered diva who worked far less than anyone else.

"It was a weird movie because... he can only work 10 hours a day. And part of the 10 hours is him flying his plane to the location and flying home. So essentially, he only had to work, like, five hours a day," she said. "He was so pampered and taken care of, it was the closest I've come to being in the presence of a king... or a queen, actually."

John has been married to Kelly Preston since 1991, but has dodged rumors about his sexuality for decades. He was infamously sued twice for sexual harassment last year by two male masseurs, but both cases were eventually dropped by the accusers.

Cho is a long-standing gay rights activist. She is now married to a man, but has talked openly about her lesbian experiences. She will resume touring in the U.S. with a show on June 29 in Jacksonville, Florida, as she promotes her current special Mother.
