Elisha Cuthburt Eye Roll Not Directed At James Reimer's Wife [Video and Pics]

Elisha Cuthburt was spotted by camera's rolling her eyes at James Reimer's wife during the Toronto Maple Leafs - Boston Bruins match on Wednesday night, but the famous actress was responding to a fan.

Elisha Cuthburt, the star of TV’s Happy Endings, is the girlfriend of Dion Phaneuf. After Phaneuf committed a tactical error on the ice, David Krejci scored his third goal of the night past goaltender, James Reimer, after a two-on-one was created by Phaneuf’s mistake. The goal gave Boston an overtime victory and a 3-1 series lead.

But most were talking about the apparent eye roll caught on CBC cameras between Elisha Cuthburt, and the wife of goaltender James Reimer after the winning goal was scored. Reimer's wife appeared to give Cuthburt some shade with a death stare after the goal, and Cuthburt seemed to be rolling her eyes as a response.

But it was a mistake, as Reimer's wife tweeted after the game:

"For those who were thinkin @happyelishas and I were rolling our eyes @ eachother. Was the jerk beside us #rudecomment" with a twitter pic of the two smiling at the camera as friends.

Elisha also sent out a tweet explaining the mix-up and chastising fans and reporters for making a big deal out of nothing.

"Things are not always what they seem. I'm insulted and disappointed by a lot of these Comments. That's real. Not a 3 sec. Clip."

Elisha Cuthburt starred in the movies The Girl Next Door and House of Wax as well as a recurring performance as Jack Bauer's wife on the acclaimed Fox drama 24. Currently, she stars on the ABC comedy sitcom Happy Endings about a group of friends in Chicago.

Elisha Cuthburt also makes regular appearances on magazines like FHM and Maxim for their world's hottest lists. Elisha Cuthburt's hockey hang-ups are nothing new. Before Cuthburt's current beau, Dion Phaneuf, she dated NHL player, Sean Avery for two year. After Avery and Cuthburt's relationship ended in 2007, Cuthburt started dating Pheanuef, and Avery told assorted reports in December of 2008, "I just want to comment on how it's become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don't know what that's about, but enjoy the game tonight."
