Comedian 106 Pounds Lost: Lisa Lampanelli Now Officially 'A Skinny B-tch!" [Video]

The 'comedian 106 pounds less' means now Lisa Lampanelli can "officially be a skinny b-tch," after Gastric-Sleeve surgery. The comedian is 106 pounds less now, but still "a work in progress," she told InTouch Weekly after the one-year anniversary of her surgery in April.

Lampanelli is a comedian 106 pounds lighter, after she underwent Gastric-Sleeve surgery in April of 2012. She spoke with InTouch Weekly about her new slim figure:

"I've lost a total of 106 pounds. I feel like I've reached the weight I'm supposed to be. I'm officially a skinny bitch!"

The former Celebrity Apprentice and Comedy Central Roaster, considers herself the "Queen of Mean," but the comedian's 106 pounds lost means she can bear the brunt of jokes concerning her weight now.

Despite the surgery, the comedian's 106 pounds lost is "still a work in progress" she tells the magazine. She's been exercising and eating healthy to keep her 106 pounds off, but the Gastric-Sleeve surgery wasn't the only thing that's helped the comedian's 106 pounds stay off.

"I have to figure out my addiction issue and how I even got overweight in the first place," she says.

Despite struggles to keep the comedian 106 pounds lighter, Lampanelli still says the perks of her new 106-pounds-lighter frame are incredible, claiming, "One of the best parts of losing weight has been the clothing!" Lisa beams, adding, "I roll up to Macy's and go to the sales rack and see how much I can get for as little amount of money! It's almost like a game for me!"

According to Medical Daily, Gastric-Sleeve surgery is "a type of bariatric surgery, reduces stomach size in order to help severely overweight people shed pounds. The smaller stomach size means less room for food, so people are less inclined to overeat."

According to WebMD, this type of surgery is only recommended for people with a Body Mass Index (BMI) higher than 35.

The comedian's 106 pounds lost came as a result of the surgery, which she told talk show host, Bethany Frankel, last year she did after her husband, Jimmy Cannizarro, and her found that traditional dieting was ineffective for them.

Below, she talks to David Letterman about her surgery last year:
