Justin Bieber Praises Nelson Mandela, Gears Up For Cameo On 'The Simpsons'

Ay Carumba! It looks like Justin Bieber's world tour will be making a stop in Springfield. Bieber's recent behavior has him channeling infamous hellraiser Bart Simpson, which is why it's only fitting that Bieber is getting animated once again for an upcoming episode of The Simpsons. Bieber's cameo on the show will air this Sunday night. The cameo comes on the heels of Bieber praising Nelson Mandela while performing concerts in South Africa.

Fox has released an image of Bieber's cameo in which he stands alongside his manager Scooter Braun. Bieber will play himself in the episode, which is entitled "The Fabulous Baker Boy".

"He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won't admit him. Draw your own conclusion," said Simpsons executive producer Al Jean. The news doesn't come as a total surprise, though, since Justin tweeted about his cameo appearance last August. "just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy," he wrote.

Justin is currently in South Africa, where he performed a show earlier this week in Cape Town and is gearing up to perform tonight in Johannesburg. He tweeted yesterday about his "amazing" first show and publicly professed his "love to the Capetown fans" He also showed his support for Mandela by tweeting that, "Nelson Mandela is the MAN! #BELIEVE."

Bieber also confirmed that "more tour dates around the world" have been added to his current tour. The singer has yet to hit Asia, Australia or South America on his current tour. The second U.S. leg of his world tour will kick off on June 22 in San Diego.
