Bulls Mock LeBron James for His 'Flop' on Nazr Mohammed’s push

Nate Robinson says point guard LeBron James is ready for his close-up after his Oscar-worthy acting performance got Nazr Mohammed sidelined for most of Friday night’s game between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls.

After Miami’s 109-94 victor over the Bulls, Robinson told Yahoo Sports "You see LeBron in a lot of commercials, a lot of good acting."

Robinson was saying what all NBA fans seem to know, LeBron James flops. What was bothering the Bulls was that one particular flop that the reigning league MVP took early in the second quarter took the Bulls’ backup center, Nazr Mohammed, out of play for the rest of the game.

Mohammed was all over James trying to stop a fast break when he got thrown to the ground. James got a technical foul for the play, but Mohammed lost his cool and gave James a hard shove. James went flying back onto the court and kept on sliding back. Mohammed was ejected from the rest of the game by a referee.

The Bulls have been on James for his overacting. They say there was more than a little embellishment on the push.

Chicago Coach Tom Thibodeau coach said, "From my angle, I just saw a guy flop."

But Taj Gibson, the Bulls’ power forward, went farther. Noting that LeBron is sometimes compared with Michael Jordon, he said the NBA legend and five-time MVP winner would never have put on that kind of performance. "MJ would get fouled and he would just keep playing. That's old-school basketball."

On Friday, Nazr Mohammed apologized on Twitter after he was ejected the game at the United Center.

The Heat is leading 2-1 in a best-of-seven series. The Heat and the Bulls head back to the court on Monday.
