Rihanna A Blonde Now

Rihanna, the singing star and sometimes girlfriend of Chris Brown, has gone blonde. That's right, Rihanna is a blonde, now.

According to the DailyMail, Rihanna was seen showing off a peroxide blonde bob wig as she stepped out in New York on Monday.

Rihanna's bodyguards did their best to conceal the singer's drastic new blonde look from sight by hiding her behind umbrellas, but photographers were quick to snap a shot of the Diamonds star's new appearance.

While she looked thrilled with her new look, the DailyMail said it appears as though the wig was part of a photoshoot which she had completed earlier in the day for Mac. 

She even tweeted later that day: 'And that's a wrap on another #MAC shoot!! 2 in 1 day!! Thats my damn team!!!'

Rihanna's busy day also saw her shoot a campaign for her new River Island collection, with the singer tweeting earlier in the day: '2 day shoot for my upcoming Autumn/Winter collections with River Island was flawless! My models looked so damn good! Foreign chicks errwhere' (sic)

Rihanna is doing her best to move on following her latest split from Chris Brown and seems to be putting more of her time into her work and perhaps, her new image as blonde Rihanna.

And, DailyMail reported, the singer looked as edgy as ever for her evening shoot, pairing baggy leather trousers with a black cropped top.

Instead of getting changed before heading home, the star obviously liked her new image so much that she kept on the wig and bright red lipstick.

And while Rihanna was working late in NYC, her ex-boyfriend, Brown was across the country in LA, as filming a video tribute for late singer Aaliyah.

The couple, who reunited last year, seem to have gone their separate ways last week, followed by a series of jibes on social networking site Twitter, according to DailyMail.
