Beyoncé Writes Note Apologizing For Cancelled Antwerp Show, Pregnancy Rumors Swirl

Beyoncé wants her fans to know that she is grateful for their support. Bey had to cancel a concert Tuesday in Antwerp, Belgium on doctor's orders due to the classic catch-all excuse, "dehydration and exhaustion" (do stars really not have time to drink fluid? Sleep, sure, maybe...but celebs seem to be up there with developing countries as far as the scarcity of clean water sources goes).  And, of course, the swirling pregnancy rumors...swirled faster. Many have speculated that the Beyoncé is pregnant with her second child with Jay-Z.

Beyoncé, 31, recently commented that her daughter, Blue Ivy, "needs company". She also banned photographers, leading many to speculate that she didn't want pictures of a baby bump captured.

The Mrs. Carter Show was slated to hit the Antwerp Sportpaleis on May 14th but was postponed in a statement reading, "Beyoncé has been advised by her doctors to rest as a result of dehydration and exhaustion and will not be able to perform in Antwerp, Belgium, tonight."

Beyoncé posted a hand-written letter on her blog early Wednesday to personally issue her apology. She let fans know she's feeling "much better" and ready to get back in action onstage again.

"To my dearest fans in Antwerp, I've never postponed a show in my life," Beyoncé wrote. "It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon. I'm sorry if I disappointed you."

She then adds, "Thank you for your concern. I'm feeling much better now and I'm ready to give you a great show. See you tonight."

Rumors that Beyoncé may be pregnant have been a-swirlin' for weeks, and were fueled into a tornado of circulating gossip by her appearance at last week's Met Gala in New York donning a Givenchy dress that cinched high above her waist with a belt, thus concealing her stomach.

The tour will hit another 34 cities between now and August.
