Miley Cyrus Engagement Ring Twitter Pic Shows Wedding To Liam Hemsworth Still On [Pic & Video]

The Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth engagement is still on, and Miley Cyrus wanted to prove all the rumors that the two had split before their wedding, wrong, rocking her engagement ring in a recent Twitter picture.

A source told Hollywood Life the "twerker," Miley Cyrus, wanted to show off the 3.5 carat engagement ring her beau, Liam Hemsworth, gave her when they got engaged.

Yesterday, the daughter of country music singer, Billy Ray Cyrus, posted a picture to her Twitter account showing her in the studio with Pharrell, of the Neptunes and Brooklyn singer, Stacy Barthe.

The tweet included the innocuous message, "Studio with @Pharrell & @StacyBarthe (swaggajacked her sickkkk glasses)

A source told Hollywood Life "The picture was definitely a message to the haters." In the photo, pictured above with a red arrow pointed towards the engagement ring Liam Hemsworth gave Miley Cyrus, Miley is with her photographer friend, Vijat Mohindra and her gigantic-seeming engagement ring was purposely shot at the center of the pic.

"Miley is trying not to overshare [sic] on social media because it's something that has always been an issue between her and Liam Hemsworth," the source said. "She promised him she would be more private, but she can't help herself once in awhile - especially because she's feeling super confident right now."

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth started their relationship while filming The Last Song in 2009. After briefly splitting shortly after the film was released, they reunited and on June 6, last year, Hemsworth proposed with the 3.5 carat ring you see above.

Earlier in the month, rumors surfaced that Liam had been confronted by his brothers, Thor star Chris Hemsworth and Neighbours star Luke Hemsworth, in an apparent attempt to dissuade the 23-year-old star of The Hunger Games from marrying Miley Cyrus.

But those rumors proved false while the Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth engagement continues.

Miley has lobbed a bomb towards the gossip-mongers who are waiting for the star-crossed duo to end their engagement even before they can tie the knot.

The 3.5 carat engagement ring Miley Cyrus is wearing in the tweeted photo from yesterday, is a reminder to friends and foes alike, that she's not giving up on her upcoming nuptials despite what the tabloids report.
