Shinhwa Finally Comes Back with New Album, 'The Classic'

The 15-year-old idol group Shinhwa will finally make their comeback with new album The Classic.

The long-lived group has never had its members cut, added or replaced. In fact, that is a feat which belongs in world records for group artists around the globe. But the members of Shinhwa do not make a habit of looking back at their accolades and accomplishments. Rather, they enjoy the present and focus their attention on how to improve as artists.

As such, the new album The Classic has very high expectations to meet.

The most stand-out point of their new album is the implementation of Voguing dance, the first to be tried among Korean group artists. As they have always been at the forefront of pioneering new dance moves, Shinhwa will not disappoint the fans once again.

"This Love," their title song, will be featuring Voguing dance which became widely popular in the 90s with Madonna's 5th album Vogue. The key point in its choreography is its rhythm and emphasis on hand motions that liken model poses.

Shinhwa's music video brought about a lot of attention as well with the news of Japanese actress Fujii Mina leading the female role in the production of producer Jo Soo Hyung who was heavily involved in the making of music videos which have now become legends, "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman."

Shinhwa is also known for each member's sense of humor. Though not the funniest on their own, the long friendship and chemistry they share are hard to beat when they are together, making them one of the most coveted artists among variety show producers. As such, Shinhwa has already made appearances at 'Radio Star,' 'Happy Together' and 'SNL Korea' all of which are leading entertainment shows in Korea.

With expectations running high, the fans are hoping the their idols-once an idol, forever an idol despite the passage of time-will deliver the classic Shinhwa performance with The Classic.
