Hugh Heffner Buys $5 Million Hollywood Home to Play in with Wife Crystal Harris

On his third marriage and only four months into their relationship after making their vows, Hugh Hefner has bought his former Playboy Playmate wife Crystal Harris, a $5 million house in Hollywood.

The 87-year-old Hugh Heffner and 27-year-old Crystal Harris may have a lot of differences, as evidenced of the blatant age gap, but the two lovers agree on one thing: a nice home. Resting just off of Hollywood's Sunset strip, the 6,000-square-foot residence includes four bedrooms, five bathrooms, sits on more than half an acre of land, and features a glass wall in the living room that opens completely to the backyard. Other amenities of the modern luxury home include a glass infinity pool and spa, a home theater that opens to a game and entertainment area, walnut floors, and a custom kitchen by the high-end Bontempi Group out of Italy.

The happy couple was married in December and the property was purchased for exactly $4.995 million by a joint trust under the name "HMCH,CRYSTAL 2013 TRUST." That means that, despite the fact that the domesticated Playboy Bunny Crystal Harris hasn't yet been put in Hugh Heffner's will, she will be able to live in the home after he dies because she's listed as an owner.

The previous owner of the house is Internet entrepreneur Jason Rubin, a video game producer who bought the plot of land for $710,000 in 2004 and had the house custom built. It's unknown when the house warming party will be, but we expect that Heffner's former girlfriend, Holly Madison, will not be in attendance.

The 31-year-old Madison and Hefner dated for six years until their breakup in 2008 because she wanted to get married and he didn't. After she read of the couple's engagement on Twitter, she voiced that Heffner was making a rash decision. Whether it's true love or a spur-of-the-moment decision, the new home is guaranteed to appreciate both in memories and money.
