Michael Lohan Wants Lindsay Lohan Out Of Betty Ford Clinic; Michael Believes Program Will Be Unhelpful In Long-Term

Even in the secluded confines of the Betty Ford Clinic, Lindsay Lohan can't escape the drama of her life.

For one, somebody in the clinic is obviously going to the press about her progress in rehab. We now know that her Adderall supply was cut off by doctors and she's been quickly gaining weight without the constant aid of a stimulant. And if even she were allowed to complete rehab without the watchful eyes of the press, her family is still a hot mess. Father of the Year Michael Lohan is now reportedly trying to get Lindsay out of the clinic and into a different facility.

Michael Lohan told reporters that he wants Lindsay out of the Betty Ford Clinic because she needs a 90-day rehab stay and Betty Ford only offers 30-day programs. He is hoping to convince the judge in her case to transfer her to the Lukens Institute in Florida.

"There's no point in having her repeat the same 30-day program three times," said Michael.

However, the judge in her case is very unlikely to make that accomodation. If Lindsay leaves Betty Ford at any point before August 2, it will be ruled as a violation of her probation and the likely result will be a prison sentence. Lindsay entered the Betty Ford clinic on May 2.

A source told Radar Online that Lindsay has gained five pounds in the last week and has been "extremely emotional... finding comfort in food." The source also revealed that Lindsay is still exercising and has been "talking to a nutritionist at Betty Ford about eating healthier."

In a pre-rehab interview with Piers Morgan, Lindsay said that she used Adderall to treat a severe case of Attention Deficit Disorder. "I know people who take it to stay up, or girls who take it to supposedly stay slim because it kills your appetite. But I eat all the time. I just take it to stay calm. It works well for me," she said.
