Psy's 'Gentleman' Ranks 39 on Billboard Hot 100 Chart

According to the updated weekly ranking on May 16, "Gentleman" came in at the 39th spot on Billboard Hot 100 after placing in the 33rd spot last week. Previously, "Gentleman" ranked as high as number five.

Billboard Hot 100 takes into factors such as account paid streaming, total downloads, radio play counts and Youtube hits to produce a comprehensive ranking system. Although the exact breakdown of points was not released for "Gentleman," it can be presumed that the song secured similar grounds from YouTube hits and radio play counts compared to the previous week.

On May 9, the music video of "Gentleman" reached its new milestone at 300 million YouTube hits, becoming the fastest video to reach the number. It took the viral video only 25 days to gather 300 million views.

On May 20, Psy will attend 2013 Billboard Music Awards as a nominee for six different awards. He will also be the first Korean artist to attend the ceremony as a presenter. The award ceremony will take place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
