Shinhwa on 'Happy Together' Dominates TV Ratings

The episode of 'Happy Together' on May 16 that featured Shinhwa as guests recorded the highest rating among all concurrent programs Thursday night.

According to Nielson Korea's TV ratings, 'Happy Together' received 9.1%, 'Knee Drop Guru' 4.2% and 'Honey' 5.1%. By about a double margin, Shinhwa helped 'Happy Together' come out on top.

Shinhwa showed what fifteen years can create among six close friends who are now better described as brothers. With seamless chemistry that filled the show with constant excitement and humor, Shinhwa carried an entertaining conversation that was as natural as their hearty laughter.

Sharing episodes of fistfights between Eric and Kim Dong Wan, differential popularities that led to Shin Hye Sung's ill-advised exaggerated choreography that earned him a warning from the management boss, the members of Shinhwa reminded the viewers of the long time they have spent together as brothers.

Anchorwoman Choi Hee was also on the show as a guest. Proven diehard fan of Shinhwa from her middle school days, she repeatedly recalled exact words of old Shinhwa songs and rumors from over ten years ago.

From the show, viewers were undoubtedly reassured that Shinhwa's longevity as artists will only continue to lengthen with tight brotherhood that has kept them together thus far.
