Chris Brown Death Threats Bring LA Cops; Recall Last Month’s Threats Against His Girlfriend (Video)

Chris Brown death threats keep on coming. The LAPD is investigating Chris Brown death threats that came into his lawyer’s office just a little over a month after his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, got death threats from angry Rihanna fans. The singer’s lawyer said multiple Chris Brown death threats came in to his office.

Chris Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos who represented Brown during his arrest and trial for assaulting Rihanna in 2009, immediately reported the phone calls to authorities. Details about the Chris Brown death threats have not yet been released and the LAPD said the investigation is ongoing.

The Chris Brown home is no stranger to the police. In 2009, Brown was sentenced to five years of probation, one year of domestic violence counseling and six months of community service after assaulting the popular singer Rihanna. He was also given a five-year restraining order requiring him to remain 50 yards away from Rihanna, or 10 yards at public events. This week the singer ignored calls from his neighbor to take down some monstrous graffiti. The singer faces fines for being a graffiti scofflaw.

The threats were reportedly phoned into the office of Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, though details about what was said are unknown.

Last month Rihanna fans started tweeting death threats against Chris Brown’s girlfriend Karrueche Tran after Rihanna tweeted a picture of a rice cake with earrings above the caption: “Ima make u my bitch?” The caption was taken as an attack on Tran and the death threats grew in number and became more serious. One tweet said “I hope Rihanna beat the dog s–t out yo ass,” another simply warned “Watch you back.” But Tran said she got several that were much more simple and direct: “I will kill you.” Chris Brown’s girlfriend said she was afraid to leave the house without a bodyguard.
The rumors are that Chris Brown is still secretly dating Rihanna.

Brown’s popularity started its tailspin after details came out about his assault in Rihanna in 2009. Police records showed that Brown punched her, bit her and even tried to choke. Brown turned himself in to the Los Angeles police and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, while under investigation for domestic violence charges.
