WWE Extreme Rules Results: New U.S. And Tag Champs, No Winner In WWE Title Match And Brock Lesnar Survives The Cage

WWE Extreme Rules results featured new champions and one match that did not have a winner.

At the first pay-per-view that follows Wrestlemania every year, the WWE Extreme Rules results consisted of a new United States and tag-team champions. All three members of the Shield won gold, as the WWE Extreme Rules results saw Dean Ambrose defeat Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns defeat Team Hell No.

In one of the main events, the WWE title did not change hands because both John Cena and Ryback took each other out when Ryback drove Cena through part of the stage setup. Fans booed but Cena hung onto the WWE championship for at least one more night.

The match that capped off the PPV was Brock Lesnar and HHH inside a steel cage. With the help from Paul Heyman, Lesnar was able to pin HHH.

As for the rest of the action, Randy Orton was successful in his hometown of St. Louis when he punted the head of the Big Show for a victory. Sheamus touched all four posts when he defeated Mark Henry in a strap match.  Fandango could not pull off the magic he had at Wrestlemania because Chris Jericho won this go around.
