Drake, Jay-Z In Studio Together; Rappers Record Chris Brown 'Diss' Track After Rihanna Blow-Up Angers Jay-Z [Pic & Video]

Drake and Jay-Z are working on new music together. After a photo was posted on Instagram of Drake and Jay-Z together in the studio, rumors spread that they may be working on Drake's new album, which could feature a Chris Brown diss track with Jay-Z taking Drake's side after Brown's treatment of Rihanna.

Drake is in the studio recording his third studio album, not counting 2009's So Far Gone extended play called Nothing Was the Same. But the Canadian actor-turned rapper is due for some high profile collaborations, the most notable of which is "Mr. Beyonce", Shawn Carter or Jay-Z, as most fans known him.

Drake and Jay-Z were snapped together in the studio by producer Lenny S., who posted the picture to Instagram with the caption: "Warning: Please be very afraid of the music we're working on. OVO x ROCNATION."

Jay-Z might be releasing a new album, since he hasn't released one since 2009's The Blueprint 3. Jay-Z and Drake, two rap heavyweights, have worked in the studio before, most notably on Drake's first album, Thank Me Later, for the track, "Light Up."

Jay-Z also collaborated with Justin Timberlake on the eclectic “Suit and Tie” off Timberlake’s first album in almost a decade. So, Jay-Z isn’t against teaming up with other high profile artists.

One artist you won’t be seeing with Jay-Z, is Rihanna ex, Chris Brown. Jay-Z was a mentor of Rihanna's when she first burst onto the scene with Def Jam in 2005 when Jay-Z was still a CEO. When Rihanna reunited with Chris Brown after he assaulted her, Jay-Z was reportedly very unhappy at the decision and has been watching their relationship closely, to make sure that Rihanna isn’t hurt again.

Drake has feuded with Pusha T, Common and Ludacris, but he’s best known for his feud with Chris Brown over, you guessed it, Rihanna. Both rappers have been romantically linked to the Barbadian chanteuse before Rihanna became Chris Brown’s full-time lady.

With Jay-Z and Drake in the studio together and with their combined hatred of Chris Brown, it may be only a matter of time before they record a Chris Brown diss track that will have the whole hip hop community buzzing. We're not sure what Rihanna will think though, since she and Brown have since recently split.
