Composer David Schwartz Will Return For “Arrested Development” Netflix Series

Six years after being cancelled, "Arrested Development" is back for another season and so is composer David Schwartz.

Schwartz composed the music for the previous three seasons of "Arrested Development" and will compose for the upcoming movie as well.

First aired in 2003, "Arrested Development" was canceled in 2006. After years of rumors that it would one day return for another season, the show will premiere on Netflix this Sunday afternoon. All 15 episodes will be posted at once, each 30 minutes long.

Schwartz commented on the original score and songs for the series.

"The music for the series has always been eclectic... Often it's more about writing fun music...as opposed to funny music. And it's so important to match the comedic timing and pace of every scene," he said, reported TV Broadway World.

Schwartz went to the School of Visual Arts in New York and Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is known for his scoring of the Emmy-award winning film "Northern Exposure," which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Instrumental Composition. He has also scored for "Deadwood" and "Wolf Lake," in which he was nominated for an Emmy for the main title theme.
