Kellie Pickler Hailed Winner of Dancing With the Stars: Her Latest Triumph In Her Reality Show Journey After American Idol
Kellie Pickler was recently crowned the winner of Dancing with the Stars.
Finally, the 16th season of DWTS successfully concluded last Tuesday during its live show after announcing the latest mirrorball champion of the show, Kellie Pickler. After 10 weeks of exhausting and draining competition, Kellie Pickler became DWTS 2013 winner, and she is not a neophyte anymore in the world of reality competition shows.
The 26-year old singer started her career when she joined the fifth season of American Idol, eventually placing 6th in the popular Fox reality singing competition.
In 2006, the country singer Kellie Pickler was able to secure a record contract from 19 Recordings and BNA Records which released her debut album, Small Town Girl.
According to record sales in 2009, her album has sold over 800,000 copies. Her album had produced three singles topping on the Billboard Hot Country Songs, "The Red High Heels," "I Wonder" and "Things That Never Cross a Man's Mind". She then produced her second album in 2008, producing chart-topping hits as well. And just last year, Kellie Pickler was ranked number 14 as the Best American Idol Alumna.
Moreover, Kellie Pickler is also the very first American Idol contender to be cast on Dancing with the Stars. And just yesterday, May 21, 2013, Kellie Pickler, with her dance partner Derek Hough, were proclaimed the winners of the top-rated reality dance competition show.
Kellie was very much ecstatic and definitely surprised when the host Tom Bergeron announced that she's the latest winner of DWTS.
After hearing her victory, the country singer who is also a champion dancing star now just leaped into her partner's arm while screaming, "This is amazing! Oh my God!"
