Psy Plan Summer Album Release, But In English Or Korean?

Psy may have "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman" under his belt, but planning an album release this summer could prove tricky with his bilingual tendencies.

The king of k-pop recently spoke to MTV at the "American Idol" finale, hinting at an album release in time for the "summer season."

"I've got to promote [Gentleman]. Next week, I am starting to travel again, to seven or eight countries," said Psy to MTV.

"I'm going to be done by the end of June, and then, after that I'm really going to work hard on the album..."

Which begs the question, will the South Korean rapper stick to his Korean roots, or attempt his first English album in anticipation of a worldwide release?

In the same interview, Psy humbly talked about his lack of confidence with English when asked about being an "American Idol" judge.

"I can be a good judge, but I'm not that good in English still," he said.

"I've got to learn more language-wise."

Still, the language barrier has yet to faze the international superstar's success, with both "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman" predominantly featuring Korean.

As of today, Psy's latest single has garnered over 350 million views on Youtube, with the record-breaking "Gangnam Style" continuing its surge at over 1.6 billion views.

But releasing a full-length album might need a different approach.

Would international fans listen to an entire album if they don't know Korean, or will Psy find a solution to the language issue by the end of summer?
