Samsung Galaxy S4 Hits Verizon; Cricket Wireless Release Date June 7 For Samsung’s Hit Smartphone [VIDEO]

The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be released by U.S. mobile service provider Cricket Wireless in June. Cricket Wireless and Samsung confirmed the release date and pricing for the S4 today.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 was released in the United States via AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular in April of this year.

After a long wait, the S4 will hit Verizon stores tomorrow, May 23, and Cricket retailers in just a few weeks.

The Cricket Wireless Samsung Galaxy S4 will hit shelves on June 7 with a pricing plan more affordable that that of other cell service providers for the same phone.

The Galaxy S4 will be priced at $55 down for an installment plan, to be paid off over several months. The total price for the Samsung smartphone will be $600 at once.

Cricket will host the S4 on its 4G LTE network, which is only available in a few markets, including Philadelphia, Phoenix, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Laredo, Corpus Christi, Las Vegas, and Tuscon, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

The Cricket version of Samsung's hit smartphone is the same as the version carried by other providers, with a 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor, 13MP camera, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The one difference is that Cricket's version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will feature Cricket Muve Music Service, allowing users to download songs and ringtones as often as they want without an additional charge on their monthly plan.
