Fox News recently reported that Justin Bieber was the 7th most popular woman searched on the web, according to a poll by COED magazine.
According to the poll, which is based on Google searches in 2010, Lady Gaga is the most popular woman on the web, while Miley Cyrus falls just one spot behind Justin Bieber at 8th place.
Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber's girlfriend, and Taylor Swift, Selena's best friend who disapproved of Gomez's relationship with Bieber at the Billboard Music Awards, did not make the top 10.
It appears that Justin Bieber's fame has transcended gender, and he is not only extremely popular in male listings, but female listings as well.
It is very possible that Fox News might have mistakenly overlooked the error and accidently included Justin Bieber in the female list despite his male identity.
The results of the popularity poll that calculated the frequency of celebrity name searches on Google were as follows:

According to International Business Times, Justin Bieber continued to be included for the poll in 2011, becoming the 2nd most popular woman on the web at the time. However, the teen star is no longer on the 2013 list of popular women.
It seems that Fox News' recent report was based on old and outdated data that should be renewed. People who saw results to the poll reacted to the bizarre situation by commenting that it was a hilarious mistake.
