Rapper Faked Own Death? Rapper Tim Dog Convicted Of Stealing Reportedly Dies, Prosecutor Wants Proof, Says 'As Far As I'm Concerned He's Alive'

Rapper faked own death? Esther Pilgrim accused rapper Tim Dog of doing exactly that in order to escape paying back the people he scammed. The rapper was ordered by the court to pay back the $19,000 he owed Pilgrim after scamming her from a dating site.

The Mississippi prosecutor handling the case seems to be unconvinced of the rapper’s death, as well.

Steven Jubera said, “I need proof. I need a death certificate showing that he’s dead, because as far as I’m concerned, he’s alive. Nobody said where he died, nobody said where he was buried, which is very odd for an obituary.”

According to Pilgrim, the obituary of Tim Dog (whose real name is Timothy Blair) was shady.

“There was nothing of what you would normally find. What city? Who found him? There was nothing with any type of concrete details,” said Pilgrim.

Music magazine, The Source, broke the story on Blair’s death, reporting that the rapper died from complications of diabetes. As of the time of this writing, the webpage showing the story has been removed.

Jubera and Pilgrim weren’t the only ones skeptical about the rapper’s death. Ced Gee, one of Blair’s closest colleagues, said that he refused to speak at a funeral arranged by the rapper’s family because they could not provide a death certificate.

Pilgrim believes that there are other victims scammed by Blair and that he may actually owe millions of dollars.
